Profhilo® is one of the most requested skin treatments in London, and for good reason. It isn't a filler and it won't change the shape of your face. It's a skin booster: a highly concentrated hyaluronic acid that spreads under the skin to hydrate it from within and encourage your own collagen and elastin.
How Profhilo works
Most hyaluronic acid products are 'cross-linked' to hold a shape. Profhilo isn't. Its stabilised hyaluronic acid is released slowly into the surrounding tissue, improving hydration, firmness and skin quality across the whole face rather than in one spot.
What happens during treatment
We use a set of small injection points on each side of the face (the BAP technique). The appointment takes around 30 minutes and most clients describe it as a brief sting. Small bumps settle within 24 hours.
How many sessions do you need?
Course options are available to discuss after your consultation. Results build over around eight weeks and usually last about six months. Many clients then maintain with one session every six months.
